Most of the cinnamon you might recognize from your grocery stores or farmer's markets is actually Cassia, grown from evergreen trees in South and Eastern Asia. It has a hard flat taste, a thick and hollow dark brown appearance and is very different from the cinnamon the true cinnamon that we here at Ceylon Cinnamon produce. Our product is cultivated from the Cinnamomum genus, is a delicate and light but solid spice with a sweet flavor. Once you taste the difference you will never want to go back to Cassia our true cinnamon's a heady, fragrant, delicious experience which we know your all love.
